We decided to create a blog to document our journey through finance! What makes our journey unique is that my son aka Oyster and me, yes Peanutbutter started learning about the stock market together. We have no money to speak of and a losing lottery ticket that dashed our MacBook Pro and Lexus RX Hybrid dreams. We better learn a thing or two about real finances if we want to go there. Heard about http://www.fool.com/ and Oyster discovered http://www.wallstreetsurvivor.com/ . He likes to make it competitive. After a few months of "play money" we clicked on a link and opened our first Orange account at http://www.ing.com/. Now, we are small potatos, actually more like tator tots in our own private Idaho. But the money we put into lattes and lotto's on Main Street could be better spent "growing" on Wall Street. Right?
